  • Read safety Instructions and follow them
  • Do not swim if you are intoxicated
  • Pay in advance
  • Wear a swimming suit
Read Safety Instructions and follow them
Watch out your steps when outdoors. On low tempereatures (below -15C) the walkways might be slippery despite heating systems. The routes and dock have a sub-surface heating. The steps down into the water are covered with a heated mat and the rails on the steps are also heated.

Do not go swimming or sauna if you are intoxicated
Do not drink any alcohol before you ice-swim. Cold water causes an extreme stress to your body and it is not safe to swim if you have alcohol in your blood. Alcohol (including beer) or glassware are not allowed in sauna or on the dock.

Pay in advance
Visitors can swim and go to sauna on purchase of a EUR 5.00 one-day pass. It  can be purchased from a vending machine using euro coins (1 and 2 cent coins are not accepted). Please enter an exact amount because the machine  does not give change. During weekdays ticket sales are also handled by an on-site janitor. If you are unable to buy one-day pass, please leave 5 € in the mailbox which is inside the main entrance. The nearby kiosk does not sell one-day passes anymore.

Wear a swimming suit
Sauna is a mixed affair, for men and women. Thus you need to wear a swimming suit. There are no washing facilities in sauna, showers are in the dressing rooms.

Dressing rooms
The dressing rooms for men and women are on the first floor of the main building. The dressing rooms have toilets and showers and lockers for valuables. The showers have a coin (1 €) operated timer for hot water.
